Pictures from SolidWorks and ANSYS provided. I have two geometries that are a short distance apart in SolidWorks, but when I import the part to ANSYS, it shows that the two geometries are now one. I am trying to import a 2D part from SolidWorks to Maxwell 2D.

Here the boxes are merged, and you can see that the mesh is different than it is for two bodies with shared topology. The mesh for shared topology is not the same as merged geometry.
